Sustainability

We make our employees and guests aware of the importance of preserving the environment and adopting more sustainable habits. Some of our actions are:

• We use many biodegradable products, such as: soaps and shampoos, in addition to all the cleaning products used to wash the hotel's trousseau.

• The Del Rey Quality Hotel recycles around 200 kilos of material per week. Cans, cardboard and PET bottles are transformed and returned to society as cardboard spools, T-shirts, skewers, pans and curtain rails.

• We use renewable/alternative energy systems to heat all hotel showers, such as Solar Panels and Pellets System
• We avoid using plastic packaging, so the apartment bathrooms have shampoo and conditioner dispensers.

Our story

1986
Where it all began

Del Rey Quality Hotel was founded by Mr. Jaime Antonio da Costa Mendes (in memoriam) at the height of the shopping market in the region, when quotas in Paraguay were released and many people came to Foz do Iguaçu to shop. The name was inspired by a hotel in the city of Curitiba called Del Rey.

1989
first transformation

The first expansion of the Del Rey Quality Hotel took place, where new apartments, a swimming pool and a snack bar on the terrace were built.

1992
renew and increase

The facilities were renovated, incorporating a games room to the leisure area, in addition to the construction of a chapel and new apartments.

2016
International Recognition

Recognized for the experience it provides for all its guests, the Del Rey Quality Hotel received the award for one of the 25 best family hotels in Latin America by TripAdvisor and ranked 6th as the best hotel for families in Brazil.

2019

For the second consecutive year, the hotel receives the highest score from the Sebrae-Paraná Tourism Quality Seal
