\nIncredibly, I found out a month ago that I had never been to Foz do Igua\u00e7u and the famous Triple Frontier, an experience that may be the first and most practical way to leave Brazil. Nor had I contemplated the famous Igua\u00e7u Falls, internationally admired destination and elected one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World, a title that came in 2012, that is, 10 years ago! <\/span><\/p>\n

Even so, and despite so many reasons, I didn't know them, with the exception of the photos I saw in old albums and recent posts from friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Soon I, who love to travel and collect memorable experiences around the world. I do this whenever possible, even in cases of smaller budgets. Always motivated by the practice of extreme sports or by the desire to explore and discover delicious corners, full of experiences with nature.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And that Foz has a lot. There are many contemplative places and indicated by adventurers. To enjoy nature, try different, unusual cuisines and also buy more economically... In other words, everything that this wonderful destination offers, for all audiences.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I also love experiencing famous New Year's Eve, sunsets in different scenarios and savoring <\/span>typical gastronomy<\/span><\/a>. Not only those intended for tourists, but especially those consumed in the daily lives of the local people.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I'm talking about the delicacies hidden in little corners or on every corner, which usually bring together the<\/span> typical local foods<\/span><\/a>. And Foz has it! The border too.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There, there are restaurants with cuisine from all over the world: Arabic, Italian, Japanese and many others. It also has a special sunset, which can be seen from different angles and different perspectives, including from within a<\/span> kattamaram<\/span><\/a>, as in the promenade <\/span>Macuco Safari<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nDestiny has, above all, people from all over the world, of all ages, diversities of languages and tastes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Foz has been included in my travel list for a long time<\/span><\/h3>\n

Despite having heard a lot about the beauty of the border of Brazil with Argentina and Paraguay, always with an emphasis on the Falls, I still had not replaced the list of \u201ctrips to do\u201d with the list of \u201cincredible places to be visited\u201d. .<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But, this moment has arrived and, with it, many surprises. Among them, one of the most beautiful sunsets I had the privilege to enjoy, with a folkloric show, music and the best: applause, as the moment is honored in some parts of the world. And deservedly so!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition, the pandemic also taught us to live what matters today and, in December 2021, the opportunity to visit Foz came and I couldn't help but get to know and experience this piece of paradise.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A place that, despite being so grand, is also very accessible, both by land and by air. <\/span><\/p>\n

The proof of this is that, today, there are many direct flights there and accommodation packages and attractions for all budgets. My trip illustrates this well, as I left Campinas, my friend from Jundia\u00ed, and another friend from S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, all cities in the interior of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo, and the flights were smooth, fast and affordable for all of us. <\/span><\/p>\n

we stayed at <\/span>Del Rey Quality Hotel<\/span><\/a> and I also loved this experience, staying in a traditional, welcoming place right in the center of everything.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIt's just that I'm one of those travelers who want to pay the right amount, for a very centralized place with breakfast. For that, I always search on Tripadvisor \u2013 and the Del Rey is a highly rated three-star hotel there, being awarded annually by the app's tourists.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Well, the point is that I found out that this paradise in Foz is right there, within our country, on the border with Paraguay and Argentina (which gives us the chance to make an international trip even with a few days of vacation or time off), less than 10 hours drive from S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why, did I think I would have to have 20 days for this trip? Only 5 days can make this experience something incredible. Although you'll definitely want to come back later (don't say I didn't warn you!).<\/span><\/p>\n

Let's go to some reasons why this 5 or 10 day trip is so amazing!<\/span><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

\nI will start with the Iguazu Falls and say that I understand why Unesco declared, 36 years ago (1986), <\/span>the place a World Natural Heritage Site. It really is something too grand and, therefore, the title is shared between the national parks of Igua\u00e7u in Brazil and Iguaz\u00fa in Argentina. This is because the landscape can be contemplated on both sides of the border, in an incredibly different way, through heavy trails or milder walks.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What matters is looking at that natural grandeur and thanking the universe, God or what you believe in, because this is really one of those times when you connect with something bigger, with the Nature of which our body is a part, and thank you! Beautiful to feel and see.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI chose this as the second highlight of Foz because, when I read about this tourist spot, I thought it would be important to go there, but I also thought of a place with a sign indicating a landmark full of history, without much tourist attraction.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One of those places that we have to pass, but walk a lot to take a picture and then look for something better to do. <\/span><\/p>\n

But not! I was surprised to come across a different place.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There's history there, with beautiful statues of Indians made in natural size, a lot of culture told through presentations and a very different gastronomy, with bars and a beautiful restaurant. And it's all there, together, in a large open-air square: \u201cPra\u00e7a do Marco\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are shows that tell the story of the place and its characters, in the middle of that nature and warm climate. The shows usually take place around 6 pm, just before and after that. That is, go to enjoy the end of the afternoon and the sunset, you can<\/span>do not extend it into the night, because you can enjoy it for hours, with friends, as a couple <\/span><\/p>\n

or with the whole family.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"GiantFoz has one <\/span>new ferris wheel<\/span><\/a> 88 meters high, international gastronomic experiences, places where you can applaud the sun, ecological parks with exuberant nature, such as the <\/span>Bird Park<\/span><\/a>, with over 120 endangered species.<\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, the safaris and zoos are located in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, being one of the few fully preserved spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>Itaipu Power Plant<\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

\nNot to mention the Itaipu Power Plant, world leader in energy generation, with a restaurant right on the edge of the dam, with lots of goldfish. There also has <\/span>several tours <\/span><\/a>to explore on your visit.<\/span><\/p>\n
