It has a group of animals typical of the regional biome (the Atlantic Forest), such as the jaguar, harpy eagle, boror\u00f3 deer, tapir and marsh deer, which delight adults and children alike.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some of these animals were rescued from traffic or accidents. Others are part of important reproduction projects for endangered species, such as the harpy eagle. Traveling along the RBV trails, tourists participate in an experience that combines entertainment, learning and contact with nature.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Refugio-Biologico-de-Itaipu-como-opcao-de-passeio\"><\/span><strong>Itaipu Biological Refuge as a tour option<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As it is an option for an outdoor tour and that complies with the protocols for dealing with the pandemic (such as alcohol gel available throughout the journey, mandatory use of a mask and social distancing, including a limitation on the number of spaces), it is an option that has been highly sought after.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Of Itaipu&#039;s attractions, RBV is the one that recorded the smallest drop in public this past January, compared to the same period in 2020, when tourism had not yet been impacted by the covid-19 pandemic. The drop in visitation was just 5%.
