It&#039;s a great alternative to spend a quiet afternoon with the family.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"City-Tour-em-Ciudad-del-Este\"><\/span>City Tour in Ciudad del Este<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking the city tour is an option for those who don&#039;t have much time available and want to know the main points and a little bit of the city&#039;s history. Built with materials from Saudi Arabia and China, the temple has capacity for more than 500 people and is one of the tourist attractions of Ciudad Del This, in Paraguay, most wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The architecture of the place is impressive: an 18-meter dome with two 35-meter-high towers can be seen from afar on the border. To enter the mosque you must be barefoot, and women must wear veils to hide their shoulders and hair in respect of the local tradition.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Itaipu-Binacional\"><\/span>Itaipu Binacional<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone knows the Itaipu Power Plant in Foz do Igua\u00e7u, but few know that it is divided between Brazil and Paraguay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Paraguayan side of the plant is in Hernandarias, 14 km from the Ponte da Amizade, and also has a tourist complex with attractions for visitors. The main ones are the panoramic tour, the Tat\u00ed Yup\u00ed Biological Refuge, the Tierra Guaran\u00ed Museum and the Monumental Iluminaci\u00f3n (Itaipu illuminated).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Were you curious to get to know Paraguay beyond shopping?
