Therefore, you must plan your tour in advance. See how you can get to the city:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bus:<\/strong> Opting for the bus can be cheaper and faster. There are several stops in the center of Foz do Igua\u00e7u, the journey takes an average of 40 minutes and costs around R$ 10.00. <strong>On busy days, this is a good option.<\/strong>, as the buses go straight to immigration and do not have to stop in the queues at the Argentine customs like other vehicles. However, <strong>pay attention to schedules<\/strong>, as the lines do not run until very late. Another detail that you cannot forget, if you go to Puerto Iguaz\u00fa by car, is the <strong>green card<\/strong>, mandatory insurance for traveling by car in Mercosur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On foot: <\/strong>You can also go through customs and get to Puerto Iguaz\u00fa on foot. Our tip, if you return before 9 pm from Argentina, is to leave your car in the parking lot of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoteldelreyfoz.com\/en\/blog\/duty-free-shopping-puerto-iguazu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in new tab)\">duty free<\/a><\/strong>. The mall is located before the Argentine customs and parking there is free.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another option is to leave your car in a lot just before customs, where the tourist vans also park. Then just enter the country and walk about 50 meters after customs, where you will find a taxi rank. From there, the ride to the center of Puerto Iguaz\u00fa costs an average of 200 pesos (about R$ 15.00).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The return journey can be done in the same way: you can take a taxi to the Argentine customs and then walk until you reach the Brazilian side.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Precisa-de-Passaporte-para-entrar-na-Argentina\"><\/span>Do you need a passport to enter Argentina?&nbsp;&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Many people are unsure if they need a passport for Argentina. For Brazilians, the answer is no. It is not mandatory, but it is one of the accepted documents for visiting Puerto Iguaz\u00fa. But just be with your <strong>RG<\/strong>, with up to 10 years of issuance, in hand to cross the Argentine customs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>driver&#039;s license<\/strong> it can also be used to transit the border, but it is possible to stay a maximum of 72 hours in Argentine lands.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children <strong>minors<\/strong>, in addition to carrying identification documents, they must be accompanied by their parents or with a duly recognized authorization authorizing the guardian to accompany the minor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the distance between Puerto Iguaz\u00fa and the center of Foz is only 15 km, it is still an international trip.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"O-que-Nao-pode-Trazer-de-Puerto-Iguazu\"><\/span>What not to bring from Puerto Iguaz\u00fa<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many people take advantage of the trip to go shopping.
