This is an award reserved primarily for hotels, but now Travellers' Choice TripAdvisor awards them in other categories of travel products (agencies, restaurants, operators and others) that you can book through the TripAdvisor website.

What is Travellers' Choice?

The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence recognizes properties that consistently receive great user reviews. Approximately 10% of businesses on Tripadvisor are awarded Travellers' Choice.

The Certificate of Excellence honors accommodations, attractions and restaurants that demonstrate a solid commitment to service excellence.

Using a unique algorithm to determine Travellers' Choice honorees, taking into account the quality, quantity and frequency of reviews and opinions submitted by travelers on Tripadvisor over a 12-month period, as well as a business's ranking and stability in the Site's Popularity Index. To qualify for Travellers' Choice, a property must maintain an overall bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews, and must have been on Tripadvisor for at least 12 months.
