However, in October 2022, the walkways were partially destroyed due to the high flow of the Igua\u00e7u River, which reached the impressive mark of 16.5 million liters per second, the second highest in the history of the Falls. This led to the closure of the walkways for repairs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fortunately, after months of intense work, the reconstruction work was completed last Friday (24).
